Turn any photo into an experience
Your monitor becomes a window. We rebuild your photo in 3D and your webcam follows your head — so you lean, and look around inside it. No VR. No headset.
Now use your photo
Drop in any single photo. We reconstruct it into a 3D scene on our GPU service and open it in the same head-tracked window — usually in well under a minute.
About
A monitor is a picture. We make it a window.
Project Doppel is a randomwalk project. Your webcam tracks your head, and the scene is redrawn from your exact eye position about sixty times a second. Move, and the view moves the way the world would — near things sweep past far ones, and the flat panel stops looking flat.
The effect is monocular motion parallax. That means it works for one viewer at a time, on hardware you already own, and it is not stereo 3D — no glasses, no headset, nothing to wear.
A dropped photo is reconstructed into a 3D Gaussian scene on the Doppel GPU service. Head-tracking and rendering both run locally in your browser — the photo is the only thing that ever leaves your machine.
